Claremorris boasts a variety of arts and culture
amenities including an Annual Drama Festival, Claremorris
Arts Committee (which holds 3 exhibitions a year, including
the internationally acclaimed Claremorris Open Exhibition),
Annual Summer Festival, Annual Agricultural Show, Boy
Scouts, Comhaltas Ceolteoiri Eireann, Choir, Adult and
Childrens' dance classes (including ballet) and various
other day and night classes.

- There are an impressive amount of sporting clubs in
the town, for example: Claremorris Golf Club is an 18
hole championship course. It was redesigned in 1996 by
renowned golf course architect - and Walker Cup player -
the late Tom Craddock Malahide, who also co-designed the
world famous Druids Glen in Co Wicklow and Ballyliffin in
Co Donegal.
- A new euro6 million Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre
has been sanctioned to replace the towns' existing
swimming pool
- Claremorris Tennis Club which boasts one of two
all-weather polymer floodlit tennis court facilities in
the west
- Claremorris is home to the renowned 'Claremorris
School of Equitation' which sprawls over 46 acres
- The GAA club, which has recently added two new
pitches. In addition to the above there are also a host
of other sporting facilities - Soccer Club; All-weather
Athletics Track and Club; Snooker and Pool Club; Boxing
and Karate Clubs; Squash Club and Bridge Club.
